Retrobridge fees

RetroBridge offered a temporary USDC/USDT swap-fee waiver for cross-chain swaps in 2024. The offer didn’t promise to cover network gas. The team announced the project’s closure on November 28, 2025.

Promotional Swap Rate

Historical Campaign Bridge Fee
A third-party Sunset Phase campaign listing quoted $1.99 per bridge transaction, plus network gas, for required transfers from EVM networks to Solana, Sui and Eclipse. It marks the campaign as ended.

Scope of the Swap-Fee Waiver

RetroBridge’s July 1, 2024 stablecoin announcement introduced the offer alongside its stablecoin swap feature, ahead of the then-planned RetroBridge V2 release. Those terms didn’t establish a matching fee for other assets or every network supported by the broader bridge.

The announcement didn’t give a calendar expiry or state the rate that would replace the promotion. A 0% offer alone can’t establish a dollar saving without the fee that would’ve applied otherwise.

Per-Transaction Bridge Costs

The Sunset Phase campaign listing called for three completed bridges, one to each destination. At the quoted rate, the three required bridges meant $5.97 in bridge fees (3 × $1.99), before network gas.

A fixed dollar charge takes a larger percentage of a transfer with a lower dollar value. Network gas added to that service charge under the campaign terms. The $1.99 quote therefore wasn’t a total transaction cost. Those bridge terms don’t determine the separate stablecoin swap promotion’s pricing.

Closure and Historical Quotes

The Retro Team’s November 28, 2025 closure announcement said the website would remain active for future updates. Website availability doesn’t demonstrate that a historical fee or promotion remains available for transactions.
